Space Invaders is a licensed Pinball machine developed by Bally in 1980. Despite the name, the machine's artwork borrows heavily from Ridley Scott's 1979 movie Alien, with only a few playfield art elements and game sounds borrowed from the 1978 Space Invaders video game.
The Pinball machine came with a flyer and operator's manual, which included a short comic book which makes references to the original Space Invaders game.
